Something Purple

I saw a magazine ad the other day encouraging its viewers to add a little purple to their kitchens. Apparently, Le Creuset is offering their famous arm-weakening pots in two of these royal colors. Only they call them Lilac and Cassis.

I love purple.

I would marry it if I were a color and propose a new verse to the wedding poem:

Something old

Something burble

Something borrowed

Something purple

Yes, burble is a forced rhyme, and not a noun, but it’s perfect. It’s a verb meaning to flow in an irregular current with a bubbling noise. See? That would be the champagne fountain.

There you go.
