Fugacious – Read this Quickly Before It Disappears

Fugacious – lasting a short time : evanescent

Merriam-Webster sent this word last week by email. I like the sound of the word evanescent better than fugacious. Evanescent reminds me of the word effervescent and the image of bubbles rising and dancing from a glass of sparkling lemon Lorina, my favorite carbonated beverage. That would work as an illustration because the bubbles only last a short time! They are evanescent effervescence!
