Two for Tuesday – You’ve Heard of Six Flags, How about Three Flags?

With the temperature reaching into the 80’s today, I busied myself tidying the deck soon to be repaired from the storm last year. I found three small, torn and faded garden flags  still propped in pots of dead flowers and decided to sew new one flags. Here’s a picture with appropriate quotations:

Garden flags“In a general way, I want to be a kind of flag-waver, a bunting hanger-up, a drum-beater, you name it, for poetry.” – Andrew Motion

and

“A poet is a verb that blossoms light in gardens of dawn, or sometimes midnight.” –  Aberjhani
